I was supposed to move in the 12th but the gate code I was given didn’t work, all evening long I called the number given to get in and they never called me back till I called back again the next morning and they finally called me at 2 pm, after leaving a bunch of voicemails, and stressing myself out because I had a specific time I needed to be out of my apartment.

Things were going ok but when I went back to the storage they didn't have an elevator what they had was a freight elevator. I was told that their was an elevator. So I had to go up stairs and on the way down the railing was off. I told the front counter person and she said they would get that taken care of right away. When I went back the next day it was the same way. Not too happy for the fact that there is no elevator. Was told a different price then what it was.

This storage facility is great! The check-in kiosk is easy to use but the staff is more than helpful and talks you through everything. Christina is incredible! The elevator lift/ dolly to bring your items upstairs could use some improvements but it got the job done!

We were part of the mass exodus from GCU due to COVID-19. It was very easy to reserve a space on line and when we showed up to the facility, it was a quick process. The manager was under a lot of stress due to the amount of people needing spaces and she handled it with tact and grace. I feel really good about using this facility.

We had problems with our lock. The young lady rep gave us another temp locker to put our remaining stuff in AND had the lock fixed the next day and moved temp storage contents back to the original locker without us being there. SUPER

We arrived with all of my belongings in a large moving truck. The truck could not make the turn to get to the storage unit. I rented an outside unit to be able to drive up to it and unload. We ended up having to park near the entrance and haul all of the furniture and boxes down the aisle to the storage unit. Not fun at all. I would have cancelled and gone to another storage facility, but it was 5:00 pm and there was no time. The truck had to be unloaded to do another move the next day. I was stuck.

All I can say is I'm impressed! I made our reservation on line, which was SUPER easy, and within 5 minutes I received a call from Christina, who was very pleasant and professional, to confirm our reservation. When we went to store our car, Christina was there to greet us and complete the transaction. It only took about 10-15 minutes for the paperwork. The facility was very clean and the price was right! So far, extremely happy with the overall experience!!!!

Difficult to reach by phone, fax or e-mail. I tried all methods to provide documentation fax not sent, e-mail returned undeliverable. The only option is go into office or wait for return call. I will move my belonging as soon as possible. I like to reach someone when I need to.

I've rented a space for my small trailer for 5 months, an open utility trailer. Rate was great. Service people friendly. My only misgiving was finding my trailer full of garbage when I went to get it to move it to my school. They do have a dumpster on site, which made it easy to clean. I just found it odd that someone had dumped garbage in my trailer and felt management might have noticed it and put it in the dumpster.

This is a decent storage facility which has excellent value for the price per square foot. My only criticisms would be that there is only one (freight) elevator to get to the upper level and a there's currently a shortage of push carts for customer use. Gary who checked me in was friendly and helpful.

There is ONE elevator for the whole unit, none of the fans work in the climate controlled building. This place has no carts or trolleys. I would have been better off getting an outdoor unit on the bottom floor.

Overall Central Self Storage was good. I was able to move in the day I went in and looked at the unit. However, I was upset that they did not have a first month free/ first month $1 availability, because I moved in on the 18th of April, and will be moving out August 9th: this means I will be in the unit less than 4 months, but I am being charged for 5 different months. First month was discounted, but still frustrating how they are getting so much extra money out of users (not to mention your typical lock and admin fee at all storage facilities). Also, my unit is large enough for cars, and when I went in the unit for the first time there was oil still present and lots of small, black charcoal like pieces everywhere. Overall cleanliness of facility was fine, but the unit got black smudges all over some of my belongings and could have at least been swept out. Facility was completely gated and walled/fenced though so that was great! Location very close by for me as well and easy to get to.

So I reserved my storage unit online when I got to the facility that storage unit wasn't available but the agent at the desk didn't find that out until he had already checked me in so he had to go back and check me into another unit a bigger unit which we miscommunicated and I thought was I was going to get at the price I made the reservation turns out I actually ended up paying a lot more for a storage unit which was out of my budget and that was a little disappointing other than that I like the facility I like the cleanliness and it looks like a very secure place to keep my things

Their 'temporary hours' are that the office is closed 3 days a week, and no one to resolve problems. The elevator is broken, again, so you have to haul up and down the stairs. Their 'climate controlled' is evaporative coolers, several of which are not working. There are signs posted inside the building 'Security Cameras in Use' but there are no security cameras inside the building.

I didn't know if i was going to need a bigger storage but the one i got is perfect. The unit is upstairs which is ok as long as you are parked close to the elevator door. There is usually a flat cart in there to help you maneuver your things around but found out the hard way that when the person leaves the property it gets locked up. I work all day so when i came to find that it was locked up and i had to carry these heavy boxes to the elevator I wasn't too please. Other than that, i love it.

The price per month is great for the amount of space you get! Other storage facilities in the Phoenix valley area were twice as expensive for less space. The management is very professional and friendly. The storage unit I got was pretty dirty inside but not terrible, a few of the lights indoors were not working, and it was hard to move my boxes to the second floor with no dollies or handcarts to use. I also assumed that a "climate controlled" space would be cooler, but the indoors building was still probably 85 degrees inside (as opposed to 105 outside). Otherwise, it seems great.

The elevator is a freight ONLY lift, the ad is misleading. It is very difficult and time consuming to use the freight lift, even the doors are extremely heavy and there is a possibility of getting locked in this dark lift. Hallways are dark, gloomy, and creepy even with the lights on (which you must turn on by yourself and they are located in an inconvenient place from the units.) Great customer service! Must provide ID to use carts and they can ONLY be checked out during day office hours. It's okay for what you pay, but I was not very impressed with the amenities.

My check in went fairly smooth, however, I was not given a tour of the facility and had to figure out how things worked on my own. ie the elevator, I had carry to load of boxes up the stairs before I figured out how to operate the service elevator. I am a single fem college student and no one thought to tell me about the service elevator. Also, the storage locking device was stuck, but he worker came out quickly and fixed. I just hope it does not stick again.

I was having the worst moving experience of my life everything that could go wrong did. I found Central Storage online and was greatful they had a 24 hr kiosk to rent a unit, because of course with all that's gone on at this point its like 12am and no place is open. Well par for the course my card doesn't want to work and there we sit tired frustrated and ready to SCREAM!!! well the onsite manager comes down and tells us sorry they are closed due to the gate being broke. I just laugh what can you do at this point. Well I told Hermy story and even tho she was sick in bed on her day off she opened the place up and rented me a unit and saved the day. We had to go through a side gate but she got us a hand truck and stayed up way late while we unloaded into our unit. She went far and above what she had to do and for that I'm greatful beyond words. The facilities are clean, secure and easy access. I would recomend them to anyone in a heartbeat. True story every word.

This is the worst business situation I have ever been in . The first time I pulled up to the gate they had giving me the wrong passcode. I did not realize it was my cell phone number untill I tried to enter the code numerous times and recieving ACCESS DENIED! I had to figure out the two numbers needed to be switched around. Well step two it was awfull finding my unit because most of the hallway lights did not work and the unit number on the door was in some sort of black marker like . Only to find my unit with a lock on it that noone took off yet oh and found the elevators did not work after I found them alllllllll the way down the opposite end of my unit. There was absolutely no emergency number to call. The person who came to the private residence door said"oh I'm just here packing up for the manager and don't work here they let the manager go" When I explained my problem with a u-haul full of things I needed to get in storage by 10:00AM the next day because I needed to return the u-haul he said there is nothing that can be done. Well so then I had to drive sixty two miles back to my home to leave the u-haul filled with my things and hope to figure something out during the night. To end this long boring and disgusting story yes you guessed it I lost my 25.00 for the unit had to pay another 60.00 at a different storage place I was afraid to go back to that place again. Oh and not to mention I did not make my cut off time soooooooo I ended up paying for an extra day use of the truck,extra day for storage insurance,and extra miles for a total of 110.00. Keep in mind I already paid 127.00 when I pickep up this u-haul. All this stress for someone who just lost their Mother and needed to leave his residence! I hope and pray that noone else ever experiences this with this place. Good luck.

This particular location is under new management and my customer service representative was Jose. He was fantastic. Although he is new to the job and still in training, I never would have known. My situation was of an urgent and somewhat complicated nature. Start to finish, I only had a very short window of opportunity in which to process my paperwork, fax over proof of insurance, sign off on agreements, rent a moving truck, select a storage unit, get things loaded, transported and unloaded etc. I had less than 3 hours start to finish. I reserved online and when I walked in I was the only one in the office. Jose was by himself. About 15 minutes into my transaction however, another customer came in to pay their rent. They quickly became disgruntled after learning that I too was a “paying customer” and they would have to wait their turn. Their ongoing displays of extreme impatience did nothing but add stress to the situation. However, in spite of this customers continued annoyance, rather than get flustered, Jose really saved the day. He not only treated us BOTH with dignity at all times, he kept his composure and professionalism all along the way. So imagine my surprise at learning that he was NEW to the job! I will definitely tell a friend about this facility.
